Bob,

The K1 does not yet know that you have configured the board for 20 and 15 -
that is why you see the display for 40 and 20 only (these are defaults in
the firmware).  You will set the proper band using the menu a bit later when
you get to page 39 and do the band assignments.

The only issues that I know about in the selection of 80 or 150 kHz range
for the VFO is that the tuning rate will be about twice as fast with the 150
kHz range compared with the 80 kHz range - most folks seem to like the 80
kHz range, but it is  matter of personal choice and operating preferences.
