Hi David, The SteppIR controller needs to collect serial communication data. This information is available over the RS232 port or a K3 or the USB port of a K3S. The ACC port is not used for this purpose. If you are interested in RS232 communications you'll want to see the SteppIR application notes on their Y cable. From there you can get your thoughts together and ask further questions as required. I posted the document on the SteppIR Yahoo group in the files section.
