I am about to buy a KAT500 and having read the owner’s manual (shock horror!) I notice that the tuner will choose an antenna according to a particular band/frequency it’s encountered before.
Is it possible to defeat this feature as I tend to use two different multi-band antennas, according to conditions. The vertical in particular is better for DX, with it’s high angle of radiation. I often swap the antennas on the same band/frequency, so would not want auto-recognition. 73, Alan.
