Actually, there have been some problems from those high voltage lines. I believe these are on the order of 300kV. Official word from PG&E is that they will not make any repairs solely for RFI because it's too expensive to do it.

I suspect that HT lines are probably less likely to have arcing than lower-voltage lines, simply because it would be a much bigger problem for the power company if they did.
