Gerald, SO2R done correctly requires extensive path shielding, switching components, and control circuitry. Adding these would increase the size and cost of the KPA1500 for all customers, while only a small percentage would make use of them. So we feel that an external controller providing SO2R or other specialized switching would be more appropriate.
KPA1500 firmware will be updated to fully support such products as we identify them. We oversized the microcontroller memory by a factor of about 8 to allow for such expansion.
