If you have KIO2 or KPA100 serial connection to your PC, you could
theoretically run some sort of macro at the PC end to recognise that you've
changed VFOs, and fixup stuff for you, then keep track if you change modes
so it can fixup properly next time.

Personally I'd throw together something in perl if I wanted this
functionality, but that's the kinda geek I am. Not sure how to do this sort
of thing on Windoze - maybe our favourite HRD author will chime in?

Of course, this doesn't help much if you're in the field without your
logging laptop.
