I've also noticed that the ATU often doesn't get a very good match, even
if I try twice as per the manual. The K3 ATU, by contrast, usually
finds a much better match for the same load. (Not talking high load SWR
here, less than 2:1.) I haven't compared the component values in the
two ATU's, but I expect they're similar, so they should be able to
achieve equally good matches.
