Sorry to flog this poor horse once more. My XT90 AMASS connector failed due to 
not being completely inserted with the mate on a 52volt e-trike. It burned up 
one of the conductors inside the female plug.

I have never had a failure of an Anderson powerpole in many years of using 
them. It is easy to see when they are not completely connected.
