My method is to use the RS232 port on the K3 to an Elecraft cable that converts to USB to the computer for rig control and use a WinKeyer USB for keying.
I think some people use the USB connection for both rig control and keying, but I like the separate keyer - I like the knob, and when I'm operating outside of contests, I don't have to switch anything around. 73 de Lee, AA4GA On Fri, Oct 14, 2022 at 10:23 AM dave arruzza via Elecraft < elecraft@mailman.qth.net> wrote: > To all: > What is the preferred method of keying and rig control when using a K3 > with N1MM. > 73Dave W1CTN > > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > Message delivered to lee.hi...@gmail.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
