So basically you have a slick case along with a number of knobs and features to
manipulate fascets of an inferior receiver?  I guess this is how you sell an
appliance that is inferior in performance.

Even if the argument is that the K2 is inferior in aesthetics, mounting, and
features, how much of what is "inferior " is not compensatable by your hands
and your brain (eg. IF shift = BFO shift + VFO shift)?

I know where I am spending my money (when I finish saving it up).  Is it my
immagination or does anyone else feel like they are a kid saving their paper
route money for, well, a really cool radio?
