Rich, >From the serial number you provided I can tell you it is a K3 not a K3S. The S3 model number you gave is the model number of the matching speaker. Also, you say it has a USB connection not a RS232 connection. This tells me that it has been upgraded with the KIO3B option. Does it have the 2nd receiver? As to other options and filters it may be easiest to take the top cover off and look inside.

I need to come up to speed with the operation of the radio, features and what modules are installed. From the outside it has the USB connection so I realize it has been updated from the original. I undeerstand it has a configuration that I should backup and lots more. I do have a stack of manuals and a collection of cables plus many years as a ham but little experience with Elecraft. Any suggestions are welcome! -- Rich Clemens [email protected] [email protected] Cell 304-439-8421 VoIP 304-878-5600 HH 5189 HoIP 100364 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net/ Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected] ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
