Michael,
From an operational standpoint, they are almost identical. The K3s
does have the USB interface on the back panel, where the base K3 has the
RS232 interface instead. Other than that, the K3 nifty manual should be
good.

for it without success. I was offered a Nifty Guide for the K3 and I am
wondering if the two models hand similar operating features since they appear
to have the same controls.
