Can some one please point me in the right direction? I am building a K1, 2 bands 3.5 and 21 MHz and have got to page 46, "Alignment and Test Part II" All resistance and voltage measurements have been within the limits. Band 1 (3.5 MHz) is working perfectly on receive and transmit with signals received at good strength and about 6 watts out on transmit. Yes, I heard a starion calling CQ when checking the receive side and could not resist answering him! so have had the first QSO. However on band 2 (21 MHz) there is no output on transmit. I think it is OK on receive, I have used my old and cheap sig. gen. and can receive the signal from it.. The 21 MHz band has been dead so I can't compare the K1 with another receiver on that band. I do have another 2 band filter board, 3.5 and 18 MHz. I have tried this board with nearly the same result, I get about 0.2 watts out on 18MHz. I have checked the orientation of the relays, which is correct but get lost trying to follow the transmit signal path through the TR switching. Any help will be appreciated.
