Not even worth bothering to do a comparison. The K2 blows the doors off anything Icom makes below a 756 ProIII level. The IC-7000 is nothing more than a prettified 706MkII-G which has the same HF receiver as the IC-718. Some people want performance, some people want convenience. -- R.
