There are a number of good choices, including the surplus Motorola communications speakers already mentioned. I have several sets of Minimus 7 bookshelf systems that were very popular from Radio Shack. I use them on most of my stuff, including an Icom 220 rig, Kenwood 940, etc. They sound great with the K3. I have also tried a set of Behringer 1-C Monitor speakers that play well with the K3.
