I have seen hints to the effect that the 2nd RX can be used for diversity reception. I just read in another post that the two VFOs can be locked together.
How are the antennas handled in this sutuation. If ANT A is being used for the main RX and for transmitting, is ANT B switched to the 2nd RX (presumably without the benefit of the ATU) or do you have to use a dedicated RX only antenna on a separate connector? If the TX antenna is being used with an external tuner and the KAT3 in BYPASS, would the other antenna be routed through the internal tuner to the 2nd receiver? ----- Julian, G4ILO K3 s/n: 222 K2 s/n: 392 G4ILO's Shack: www.g4ilo.com Zerobeat Ham Forums: www.zerobeat.net/smf -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/K3-Diversity-Reception-tp16047001p16047001.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
