That's a valid point and it affects the Omni VII for the same reason. While the Omni VII's bandwidth is "mode agnostic," it does take cranking the b/w control a few revolutions to get the desired value. I had actually thought of a process to engage a quick b/w recall for the Omni VII that their code developer is currently reviewing.

I like your idea of limiting the DSP rx audio bandwidth to no more than the widest roofing filter for the mode.
