Well if you want studio microphones, Heil is a possibility, you just need to be on the 'pro' side of the website, and not the 'communications' side of it: <http://www.heilsound.com/pro/products/> The PR-40 has a range of 28Hz to 18kHz -- although I don't know what good that does on the amateur bands.
