Yup. Joe's StationMaster solution is better if all-band switching is
important to you.

I'm an "occasional driver" on the WARC bands and I can reach over to the
PW-1 control head and move to 18 or 24 MHz manually.  I really want the
automatic switching for contest operations.

IIRC, this method only works for the major bands. ICOM did not 
provide for the others.
