There are however times when I find the IIR filters more useful than the FIR filters on 160m, some ringing (but not too much) can help pull a signal out of the muck if it's slow (less than about 18 WPM) I used to use the Audio peak filter on the 7800 to do the same thing I am glad that the option is there for the times when I find it helpful 73 Brendan EI6IZ -- Don‘t complain.
