Good Evening,
Conditions turned good toward the end of the week and I had a couple of fine
skeds with a friend of mine. The weather seems to be getting slightly warmer
too. The forecast is for sunny days until at least Wednesday and Monday the
temperature is going to hit 70 degrees! Nice weather to work outside and get
ready for winter.
Space Weather says we have a solar stream coming which is due to stike the
earth on the 29th or so. Luckily it won't happen tomorrow so we should have
quiet conditions again. Last week the bands were good. Now that the sun is
rising and setting later and later each day it will be dark here for the entire
second net. Each morning the sun slides further and further behind the
mountain to my south. In about a month it won't be above the horizon for most
of the day. It will peek out around dawn for a short while and then again just
before sunset.
