Please restart the K3 Utility. Is this the Windows or Mac version of the K3 Utility?

It just sits at the "... waiting for MCU firmware load" point and nothing happens. The port checks ok, with good communication to the radio. No yellow flashing led, ever. Is there some other way to hard reset this thing to get it moving? Or something else I missed in the manual?
