Please restart the K3 Utility. Is this the Windows or Mac version of the K3 Utility?
You're pressing the "Send All Firmware" button on the Firmware page, right? Something crashed and caused a loss of communication the initial attempt, and the radio is stuck in MCU LD. Went through the procedure for forcing bootloads in the manual -- can get to the red flashing TX LED, with MCU LD in the display (no backlight). But nothing past that. Here is a sample of the Utility (1.1.10.17) log: 11:10:24 K3 boot loader is ready for MCU firmware load. It just sits at the "... waiting for MCU firmware load" point and nothing happens. The port checks ok, with good communication to the radio. No yellow flashing led, ever. Is there some other way to hard reset this thing to get it moving? Or something else I missed in the manual?
