Another solution is to get an LP-PAN panadapter. This gives a great panadapter plus two PowerSDR receivers. This weekend I was able to monitor K5D on the K3 and/or the primary PowerSDR receiver and listen to (and watch) the pileup on the PowerSDR subreceiver. PowerSDR allows you to put the pileup in one computer speaker and the DX in the other. Pretty cool!
I only wish that PowerSDR receiver un-muting after transmission was a little faster. There is a little too much pause there.
