Jim,

The middle layers of foam have serrated 1/2" cubes. I laid everything out to 
where I was happy with it and then put toothpicks in the corners of stuff to 
mark where to cut. I then used a bread knife to cut out the blocks.

Non-square items are a little more challenging, but you'll get it with a little 
practice. For slim items like the tools, I cut the shape out for the full 
thickness of the foam and then cut off the thickness I needed and glued the 
base back in with rubber cement.

Hi Dave,

Great looking case you have there.  I like the way everything is neatly
organized.  Question; did you cut the foam to fit, or was this the "pluck
foam insert" where you can just take out pre-cut blocks?
