Jim, if you're observing unexpected behavior with the K3 Utility please consult the K3 Utility Help section on that topic. If I get a question that isn't answered in Help, I try to get that question answered in a subsequent revision of the K3 Utility's Help text.
The first two sentences in the K3 Utility Help topic on 50 Watt Transmitter Gain Calibration are "The 50 watt calibration page is shown only if a KPA3 100-watt Power Amplifier has been installed and enabled through the K3 CONFIG:KPA3 menu selection. The K3 CONFIG:KPA3 menu selection must be "PA nor" for 50 watt calibration".
