Fix needed? This happened to me during the TN QSO party - I was on 80 cw trying to adjust the antenna tuner when it hit - it was loud - no volume control, no signals - Thank God I wasn't running my headset thought it was going to blow the speaker. I shut rig off and turned it back on and proceeded with my QSO! Doesn't appear to be any long term affect? This happened on my first K3 - was running SO1R 73 de Bill N4ZI K3 # 1059 & K3 #2914

For the "Everybody Loves Raymond" fans - Frank's famous line sums it up: "Holy Crap" During sending an exchange in the TN QSO Party - pure noise, loud and no signals. Lost the QSO, almost broke the boom mike getting the headset off, spilled beer on the keyboard (but I have a couple spares) and couldn't hear for a few minutes. Loaded my last beta. 73 Hank K8DD ____________________________________________________________ FREE 3D MARINE AQUARIUM SCREENSAVER - Watch dolphins, sharks & orcas on your desktop!
