CBers certainly have a bad reputation in this part of Great Britain, as do also most of the 2 metre FM operators many of whom have attempted to progress to amateur radio. A "Roger beep" would only encourage people not to use their call sign at the end of each transmission. Gosh, the standard of operating is bad enough without making matters worst. 73 -- David G4DMP Leeds, England, UK ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
