I have had Phil's QSK kit in my ALS600 (before the article appeared in QST)
for almost a year now with *WONDERFUL* results. Perfect QSK! It makes this
amplifier a real pleasure to use on CW. Took about an hour to install in to
the amplifier and was extremely simple to make. I purchased Phil's board as
well.

I bought two QSK kits from Phil Salas, AD5X.? One for my Dentron Clipperton
and one for my ALS-600.? I installed the one in my Clipperton last week.? I
am now 235 QSOs into the CQWWCW plus several QSOs the week before and it is
going strong so far.? The relays are so little that I expected a loud bang
and smoke the first time I keyed, but not happening.? It is fast enough that
I have had some Qs at 40 WPM (No I can't send that fast, but my computer
can!)? They were only a little over 30 bucks and not too hard to install.? I
can let?you know when I get the ALS 600 on line.? Look in the June 2009 QST
for more info, but don't rely on QST for the pin out on the relays.
