I have had Phil's QSK kit in my ALS600 (before the article appeared in QST) for almost a year now with *WONDERFUL* results. Perfect QSK! It makes this amplifier a real pleasure to use on CW. Took about an hour to install in to the amplifier and was extremely simple to make. I purchased Phil's board as well.

One for my Dentron Clipperton and one for my ALS-600.? I installed the one in my Clipperton last week.? I am now 235 QSOs into the CQWWCW plus several QSOs the week before and it is going strong so far.? The relays are so little that I expected a loud bang and smoke the first time I keyed, but not happening.? It is fast enough that I have had some Qs at 40 WPM (No I can't send that fast, but my computer can!)? They were only a little over 30 bucks and not too hard to install.? I can let?you know when I get the ALS 600 on line.? Look in the June 2009 QST for more info, but don't rely on QST for the pin out on the relays. ?Willis 'Cookie' Cooke K5EWJ No virus found in this outgoing message Checked by PC Tools AntiVirus (6.1.0.25 - 6.13800). http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
