Yes you are correct, just got off the phone with Elecraft ...it is due to the IF at approx 8.2Mhz. This is a big deal to me as a MARS/SHARES operator. Waiting to hear back from Elecraft to see if they can move the freq up a bit to xmit in this area. Otherwise, I will have to put my TS-480 back on the air...glad I caught this before selling the TS-480.
