Just to further clarify, after lowering LO CUT to zero, the bottom two EQ bands have activated!
Even so, it is indeed interesting that little energy exists at those low frequencies - even in an AM broadcast signal. This kind of EQ is a very powerful tool. I wish I had the free time to fully explore its impact on the various modes. One tip I learned from a pro audio / musician friend many years ago is that more often reducing the EQ level of some bands is more effective than increasing others so don't presume that you always need to boost to improve what you hear. 73, Bob W5OV -----Original Message----- From: elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of James Sarte Sent: Monday, January 11, 2010 2:39 PM To: 'Lyle Johnson' Cc: elecraft@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 K3DSPUPG note I got it. RxEQ 1 and 2 work. One has to set LO CUT to 0.00, as before. 73, Lyle KK7P ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
