Rob, you might trying posting on CQ-Contest too for a contest related opinion.
I've used the built in to the motherboard sound card on an old Win2K machine for SSB DVK with N1MM and it works well. So I would think that any decent middle of the road sound card should be fine for this app. It's a different story if you want to try a panadapter or SDR out. eMu makes good equipment, both internal and external. Haven't had any comments on the bluegears b-Enspirer card I asked about, which also is a 192 KHz. 73, Julius n2wn ----- Julius Fazekas N2WN Tennessee Contest Group http://www.k4ro.net/tcg/index.html Tennessee QSO Party http://www.tnqp.org/ Elecraft K2/100 #4455 Elecraft K3/100 #366 Elecraft K3 #1875 -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/sound-card-recommendations-tp4854795p4860068.html Sent from the [HAM] mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
