I'm also sorely tempted to get an iPad, even tho it's a One-point-Oh version and surely infested with the usual bugs of a One-point-Oh. But if it really pans out over time as a good multimedia device, I could see it as a neat alternative for doing digital modes; i.e. the sound card ones like PSK and AFSK in particular. Especially for portable ops due to its size.....
