Stephanie's eyes are fine. I didn't mean the diagram on the right is equivalent to the diagram on the left. I meant that the diagram on the right illustrates a voter who believes that A is "equivalent" to C and that B is "equivalent" to D. I was using Jobst's term for the symbol '='.
