Thanks Dr. Gupta, I don't see this feature in the documentation either 
but not a big deal. I will just save the plot setting.

Also, I believe the .spi file is for LTspice. For Electric waveform 
viewer the similar function is in

Window -> Waveform Window -> Save Waveform Window Configuration...

and it saves the plot setting as a .txt file.
