Honestly, I think that would be warranted. Not sure if Frank might prefer 
otherwise relative to profiledb goals, but I would personally be happy to get a 
more thorough review rather than having to compromise on both sides because 
there isn't time to build maintainer confidence in the code. I think if the 
profiledb side of the effort advances a bit -- enough that I can make an 
additional patch to document how stackprof+profiledb work together in the 
manpage -- that provides an even stronger argument for an additional release 
outside the usual cadence.

Let's just make sure to get stackprof reviewed early in the release cycle (i.e. 
this month ish) rather than pushing it off to summer?
