Hi Phil, The other thing I just learned today, that the vendor I'm working with to integrate this solution with DCOS/Mesosphere also engaged you guys with the same question on a different site (I think it was centosfaq.org/). Sorry about that and the double handling this caused. It wasn't intentional, more of bad communication at our end/between us. Again sorry about this.
Re the testing, I was able to start the user supplied test app with the kmod you provided. No issues I could see, but to be safe, let's wait for the user to test it as well. I should receive his results by tomorrow. Many thanks, Tamas On Tue, Sep 15, 2020 at 11:12 PM Phil Perry <p...@elrepo.org> wrote: > On 03/09/2020 09:07, Phil Perry wrote: > > On 03/09/2020 06:39, Tamas Csirszka wrote: > >> Hi All, > >> > >> I hope I'm not breaking etiket by dumping this request here out of > >> blue, but just joined this mailing list in the hope of getting help > >> from Elrepo to make the mac802154_hwsim kernel module available on > >> el7/8 if possible via backporting? > >> > >> I have a group of ppl who require this module for their simulation > >> work, they were able to get it on the latest Ubuntu, but to scale up > >> their simulation, we need to accommodate their needs now and migrate > >> them away from their Ubuntu laptop.
