Hello to anyone in the list,
I just bought an Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 900 hybrid TV stick USB2, but I've no luck
in using it because I'm not very expert.
I've downloaded, compiled and installed the sources of v4l-dvb-experimental,
then I unpacked the firmware (i've tryed v3 and v4) and finally made the udev
changes found here:
/lib/firmware/v4l-dvb-experimental/linux/Documentation/dvb/udev.txt

When I plug the stick I find in /var/log/messages that the DVB doesn't
work (see the dmesg extract at the bottom page) but the analog TV works fine.

I've tryed
 modprobe em28xx device_mode=1
and also
 modprobe em28xx card=15 device_mode=1
but nothing changes

In according to this
http://mcentral.de/wiki/index.php/Em2880#Devices
the DVB should work fine.

I'm currently using an ArchLinux with a custom kernel
Linux silverstar 2.6.23.9-KaL #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Dec 1 17:03:59 CET 2007 i686
Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Did someone find out how to get this stick working with DVB support?
Thank you very much in advance for any help.
Fabio
