Rene:

I modprobe em28xx-audio after plug in the stick and here is the pertinent dmesg
output:

em28xx-audio.c: probing for em28x1 non standard usbaudio
em28xx-audio.c: Copyright (C) 2006 Markus Rechberger
Em28xx: Initialized (Em28xx Audio Extension) extension

After that I did a ls /dev/dsp* and here is the output:

/dev/dsp /dev/dsp1

After that, since I see /dev/dsp1 I did the following sox command:

sox -r 16000 -w -c 2 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp1 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp

I received the following output:

Input File : '/dev/dsp1' (ossdsp)
Sample Size : 16-bit (2 bytes)
Sample Encoding: signed (2's complement)
Channels : 2
Sample Rate : 16000

The I started tvtime with good video, but no sound, and after a few seconds I
received the following output in the console where I sent the sox command:

sox sox: /dev/dsp1: Premature EOF while reading sample file. (Input/output
error)

Again, than you in advance for your valuable help, I think that now we are very
close to get sound but maybe this are not the right sox parameters.

Regards
