In fact, I'm not sure what criterion is used to decide the default
value of `desktop-locals-to-save'. I'd include (at least)
- indent-tabs-mode
- indicate-buffer-boundaries
- indicate-empty-lines
- show-trailing-whitespace
- save-place
and I'm not sure why does it include `line-number-mode'. Why not
`column-number-mode' or `size-indication-mode'?
