Flyspell apparently has a few mechanisms for avoiding this sort of thing, see the option flyspell-delayed-commands and flyspell-delay. Org already does some manipulation of delayed commands (maybe that's why I don't see these hangs anymore...?), perhaps you could try that in wl as well. Eric
