Yes, but \autocite andt \textcite produce the expected output, and have the advantage they are independent of output format. As in, the current behavior will work in an author-date style or a note-based one. So [cite:@key] and [cite/t:@key] should produce the expected output in both biblatex and natbib. Bruce
