Haha, this means you’ve read the README a lot better than I have. :)

My main motivation for asking Claude to build this module is that I use a
local AI for generating Org-mode headings from Org-mode entry content. It
takes a while (up to 2 minutes), so I wanted a bolded insert that (a) shows me
I actually typed the right key, and (b) reminds me of where text is inbound.

The above is really all that I want, so once org-pending is finished and
published, it’s quite possible I may just switch over to that if it fulfills
my needs. Until then, `pending` is just playing around with the idea, and
maybe even will offer some thoughts the org-pending author can freely steal. I
don’t know yet if org-pending allows for progress bars, progressing clock
icons, etc.
