I checked the information at the info node that you suggested. It provides the following requirements: Make sure that no other org files are open during the install and place (package-initialize) before setting org options in .emacs. I verified both of these requirements and updated to org version 20141229, but I still encounter the function org-export-icalendar-this-file and it still produces the same error as before. How to uninstall all org modes and re-install only the latest one? Thanks.
