More wishlist stuff. I generally give anybody that asks for an email address their own address, like this mailing list, which gets "[email protected]". This is nice for tracking what happens to submitted addresses, and there's zero configuration on the server since everything get dumped into a catch-all and can be filtered later or not. Spam-infested addresses can be retired. This is all easy enough.
But replying, such as to this list, requires in Mail and Gmail that you configure an address in the preferences (Mail let|'s you do it willy-nilly there, while Gmail asks you to confirm the address, maybe to foil spammers). But in both cases, it has to be set up. It would be very convenient to simply allow Letters to use the incoming address as the from and reply address. ------- TMQ _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list List help: http://lists.ranchero.com/listinfo.cgi/email-init-ranchero.com
