Yeah my bad there. I had somehow deleted some of the intermediary responses to some stuff, and others were getting sent to SPAM for some reason (til i went and checked the proper box in teh filter, thanks to whoever pointed that little nugget out, that didn't used to be there), so Gmail was wigging out on the the threading, it just happened to be occuring with your messages a lot since you were resurrecting a lot of day-or-two-old topics.
