there is obvious, and there is memorable. the two are not always the same. i 
submit that if the icon is elegant, creative, and pleasing, it will be 
memorable. obvious is best suited for cases where the risk of confusion is 
high. i don't think that's necessarily true here.

that is not to say that obvious is bad. but personally, i think it's too low a 
bar to set. i would suggest we aim for memorable.
