Come now, no need to be defeatist about the project. No harm in
trying to get Emailer released as open source.

You know, it would be much more constructive if most people on the
list politely and persistently nagged Apple to make Emailer open
source. The beauty of this is that for many it would only require a
redirection of their present efforts from the list to Apple.

What needs to happen is that those of us who want to see an open
source Emailer (1) work together and (2) have a positive attitude.
We have nothing to lose.
