Just curious...how often do you get e-mails filed incorrectly? I use a pretty broad spam filter so most of the time those are the only incorrectly filed e-mails and I know to check my boldened Deleted folder BEFORE emptying that folder. I do get messages my mail actions miss but those are in my In box and I keep that cleaned out (deleting or filing the message as preferred.) I guess I don't understand why you need to hunt down the message. If it's in the CE folder it should be because it's from this list, it's been correctly filed, and you don't need to read it unless you want to. Michele's Applescript won't help you because you want to see the messages as they're incoming and as I understand it you don't really care how they look once they've been filed. I don't like the [list] designation because as Chris pointed out, once the messages get replied to the Re:'s start to take over the subject line and the messages no longer always sort correctly. I'm sorry to rehash the subject but I've been away for a few days and just had to get in my 2. <vbg> Jodi Kodish Stav PS, Im really impressed with your ability to multitask. My DSL connection downloads the mail much too quickly for me to follow unless I'm paying attention. One of the reasons I continue to use CE is that it does such a good job filtering my mail so I don't have to. 99% of the time the mail ends up sorted where it's supposed to be and I can read it when I want to. If it doesn't, I go back and refine the mail action as needed. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
