Nobody asked, I know, but I'm so happy I must share!

I just discovered that option-double-clicking an attachment in Emailer
reveals the file in the Finder. Or maybe I forgot: it seems so natural
now that I can't believe I didn't already know it.

Yet another feature I'll expect from other email clients. We should write
them down, my guess is that the resulting text file will be bigger than
the application ;-)

I didn't check yet if it works with Mac OS X's Finder when run under
Classic, since my X just stopped mounting my OS 9 partition, leaving me
without Classic -- any idea how to bring it back anyone? The OS 9
partition works fine when I boot from it or other OS 9 disks, but OS X
refuses to mount it (the corresponding folder appears in the "Volumes"
folder, and it seems it was mistakenly attributed to "root", but even
when logged in as root it won't mount, I'd hate to back
up/initialise/restore it if I can avoid it).

I feel stupid for the many times I used brute-force to reveal attachments
(which by the way works great in other cases where you can access and
move something but can't reveal it in the Finder). For those interested,
here they are.

Suppose you're in a situation where you see files or folders in an
application which lets you drag them, but wouldn't reveal them in the
Finder, and you want to.

The long route first:
- drag an item from the application where you see it to the desktop,
- make an alias of it (Command-M under OS 9),
- select the original and "tidy" it to send it back where it was before
(Command-Y, this only works from the trash and the desktop, not if you
dragged it to another location),
- select the alias and reveal its original (Command-R).

In most cases (like from Emailer) you might skip the first 2 phases by
option-command-dragging the item, which is the shortcut to create an
alias in the Finder, so all this confines to:
- option-command-drag an item to anywhere in the Finder,
- select the resulting alias and reveal its original (Command-R).
