FYI: if you have a connection faster than dialup, you can watch the
keynote streamed from Apple directly. They always start it so it is Live,
and then repeat it over and over during the day (I actually missed the
live version. Right after it started the dick heads that were SUPPOSED to
be at my office Tuesday to collect some old furniture showed up... so I
watched the first repeat of it instead).

And with Quicktime 6's MPEG-4 streaming... MAN it looked good! (normally
it is choppy and the picture gets stuck all the time... but with the new
QT 6 player and using MPEG4... it was perfectly clear and smooth the
whole time)

Um... nothing. I didn't fully pay attention to it, I had it streaming on
my PC while I did some work on my Mac... figured I might let windows
finally be of true use, but other than adding some anti-spam features,
Mail.app appears to pretty much be unchanged.

>I also heard something about RealPlayer?

Yeah, realplayer for OS X is on its way out. They are claiming it is the
best video quality for any platform they support. And next month, at a PC
expo, they will make the same claim to the windows crowd... *YAWN*

Don't put any stock in that poll. Besides, since it looks like I am going
to miss the expo this year ($%*#&^%^ a-holes and their $&#@^$^& can't
figure out how to show up to get stuff when scheduled, I am now a full
day behind at work and have to work today when I planned to go to the
expo!!!)... there will be no one to hassle Apple about getting the source
code from them and permission to upgrade it. Not that I expect a better
response than last year, but if I just keep asking them, it is only a
matter of time before someone says yes (might be in 2025 when there is no
one left but me that cares... but at least I will have one...
MooHooHaaHaa!)
